Appreciating Contributions of Our Migrant Workers

Migrant workers make up about one-third of our workforce, making important, yet often unnoticed contributions to our daily lives. From construction sites to restaurants and even our homes, they have played a huge role in getting us to where we are today. It’s never an easy decision for anyone to leave their home to work in an unfamiliar environment – a place where they don’t know anyone and can’t speak the language. But yet, our migrant workers do so to provide a better life not only for their families back home, but also for us.
